Frequently Asked Questions

To create a poll, simply click the "Create a Poll" button on the homepage or navigate to the polls section. You'll need to be signed in — either with an email and password or through a supported external provider (Google, Facebook, etc.) — to create polls.

You can earn free credits by completing a two-step human verification process: first, solve a CAPTCHA challenge, and then complete a simple puzzle. This makes it very difficult and costly for bots to participate, helping keep votes authentic. Each successful verification earns you 2 credits, which you can spend on voting, creating polls, or commenting (1 credit per action).

You can sign in with an email and password, or use a supported external provider (Google, Facebook, etc.). External sign-in adds convenience and reduces the chance of bot accounts. Pick whichever option works best for you on the login page.

Yes, polls and comments that violate our Terms of Service may be deleted without prior notification. We maintain community standards to ensure a respectful and authentic environment for all users.

If you fail either the CAPTCHA or puzzle challenge, you'll need to wait through a cooldown period before trying again. This cooldown helps prevent automated abuse. The page will show you exactly how much time remains before you can retry. Don't worry - the challenges are designed to be simple for humans to solve!

Yes, you can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is irreversible. Your login credentials, remaining credit balance, credit transaction log, and verification history are removed. The text of every comment you posted is wiped and the comment is reassigned to "[Deleted User]" — the empty placeholder row stays so other users' replies remain readable in their original thread context. Polls you created remain on the platform with their authorship anonymized to "[Deleted User]" so other users who spent earned credits to participate keep the value of their effort. Votes you cast also remain in the system as privacy-protected data — vote choice and account participation are stored separately, so the records cannot be joined back to your identity. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the full breakdown.

Email and password sign-up works fine. External providers (Google, Facebook, etc.) are offered as a convenience and also tend to reduce bot signups, since those accounts are already vetted by established platforms.

The cooldown period after a failed verification attempt is a security measure to prevent automated bots from repeatedly attempting to bypass our human verification system. It ensures that our platform remains authentic by making it impractical for bots to brute-force their way through the challenges. Real humans rarely fail these simple challenges, so the cooldown rarely affects legitimate users.

Every action that adds something to the site costs 1 credit: casting a vote, creating a poll, or posting a comment. Each successful human verification earns you 2 credits, so a single verification covers two of those actions in any combination — for example, two votes, or one vote and one comment. Credits exist so that contributing always reflects real human effort, not free clicks.
